Marc Chapdelaine

Attorney Marc E. Chapdelaine founded the Chapdelaine Law Office in 2006.  He received his J.D. in 2002 from Syracuse University College of Law and his B.A. from Stonehill College in 1999.

Attorney Chapdelaine was admitted to practice law in Massachusetts in 2002. He was admitted to the U.S. District Court, District of Massachusetts in 2003. He practices primarily in the areas of civil litigation and trials, personal injury, medical malpractice, products liability, and catastrophic injury. He is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys, the Essex County Bar Association, as well as the Massachusetts Real Estate Bar Association.

The AV Rating is the highest possible rating given by LexisNexis Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review for a lawyer and is established wholly on a peer-review basis. The AV Preeminent designation signifies that Marc has been rated by Judges and fellow attorneys as having the highest possible rating for legal abilities and ethical standards.  The “AV Preeminent” rating is awarded to less than five percent of all attorneys across the United States, and is the highest rating offered by the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory. The Legal Ability Rating indicates professional ability in a specific area of practice and is based on five key areas: legal knowledge, analytical capabilities, judgment, communication ability, and legal experience. In 2019, Attorney Chapdelaine was named a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America (LCA).  The Litigation Counsel of America is a trial lawyer honorary society composed of less than one-half of one percent of American lawyers. Fellowship in the LCA is highly selective and by invitation only. Fellows are selected based upon excellence and accomplishment in litigation, both at the trial and appellate levels, and superior ethical reputation. Senior Fellow status in the society is reserved for advanced commitment to and support of the LCA, the Diversity Law Institute and the Trial Law Institute. The LCA is aggressively diverse in its composition. Established as a trial and appellate lawyer honorary society reflecting the American bar in the twenty-first century, the LCA represents the best in law among its membership. The number of Fellowships has been kept at an exclusive limit by design, allowing qualifications, diversity and inclusion to align effectively, with recognition of excellence in litigation across all segments of the bar. Fellows are generally at the partner or shareholder level, or are independent practitioners with recognized experience and accomplishment. In addition, the LCA is dedicated to promoting superior advocacy, professionalism and ethical standards among its Fellows.

Attorney Chapdelaine has been included on the list as a Super Lawyer by the New England Super Lawyers since 2009; being name a Rising Star from 2009 to 2013 and included on the list of Super Lawyers from 2014 to the present.  In addition, and Attorney Chapdelaine is rated by AVVO.com as a “10-Top Attorney“.

In 2017, Attorney Chapdelaine was the recipient of the Melvin Jones Fellowship from the Saugus Lions Club, where he has been an active member for over 18 years.

A portion of his practice has been dedicated to representing individuals, restaurants, and businesses before various town and city Boards.  In January 2018, Attorney Chapdelaine accepted an appointment to the Board of License Commission for the Town of Winthrop.

In addition, Marc enjoys time with his wife and three kids.
